Open Days

For nearly 20 years I have held a National Collection Open Day in May. This is when the Euphorbias are at their peak. Over £5000 has been raised for charity over this period, with donations to Plant Heritage (NCCPG) and other charities supported have included Sheffield Children's Hospital and Bluebell Hospice. Since 2010 I have opened the garden (both Firvale Allotment and my own garden at 26 Casson Drive S26 7WA) for the National Garden Scheme.

Record attendance at 2012 Open Day!

After being featured on BBC TV’s Gardeners’ World in April 2012 we had a massive record attendance of 410 visitors. Visitors came from as far away as Birmingham, Newcastle, London, Stockport and Bognor Regis! The gardens just about coped with visitor numbers and over £1500 was raised for the NGS charities.

THERE WILL BE NO OPEN DAY IN 2017. THE GARDEN AND COLLECTION WILL BE OPEN TO VIEW BY APPOINTMENT TO GROUPS OF ANY SIZE FROM APRIL - JULY.

ENTRY £3. PROCEEDS GO TO THE NGS.
